We served 94 families last Thursday including 7 new families. We were blessed with a semi load of food that was shared between us and 2 other churches last Monday. Thank you to the 8 people that helped load and unload the food and the 16 that helped on Monday evening to put it on the shelves. Tuesday we had 14 more volunteers that helped put items on the shelves to get ready for Thursday.
We were again blessed on Thursday morning when 7 of our volunteers went to Midwest Food Bank and volunteered there in the morning and came back to our pantry with a truckload of donations in the afternoon. Another 28 volunteers helped us put that food on the shelves and serve our families in the afternoon. As you can see it takes a number of volunteers so we are always in need of new people to help us.
Thanks to everyone that donated fresh produce. Our families were excited to get tomato's and peppers, cucumbers and potato's. Nichols consignment in Noblesville donated a large amount of clothes that were folded and hung for families to pick through. Many cute items for school were taken home.
Our needs this week include oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup, sugar, boxed dinners, beans, canned meats, toilet paper and toiletries. Thank you for all of your donations and prayers for the pantry. They are truly felt.
In Him
