I encourage thee...

Hello!, I just wanted to send out a little message to encourage everyone to participate in the blog. It is a great way to keep in touch and since we will miss worship next week it's even more important that we keep the lines of communication open. You can either post something or even just comment on someone else's post. Will, we would love to hear from you. We miss your essays on here. And Casey, please continue to bring us poems. And anyone else that has anything to share, please feel free to do so. And if you can't post something for some reason send me an email with your message and I will be more than happy to post it for you. haemmertime1@aol.com

I will be putting updates on here from the upcoming trustees and ministry and counsel meetings so everyone knows how things are moving along. We willl be deciding soon where we will be meeting in two weeks and we want to make sure everyone has all the info they need so we can all be together again very soon.

You know Church on Sunday was really powerful. It seemed like there was a movement of repentance in the air that I had not felt before. It was really beautiful to feel the Holy spirit honor the promise of forgiveness in such a powerful way. Certainly I pray for forgiveness almost daily but to do that as a church family felt really right especially since it happened so naturally. did anyone else feel this way?

I am also very excited that the Youth Group will be getting together on Thursday, September 9th at 6:30 at the Haemmerle's house. We had a break from Youth Group after Quaker Haven camp. Summer schedules are so hectic! But now we are looking forward to picking up where we left off. Will's guidance will be especially appreciated as we move through the next several months.Thank you will, we really appreciate all you do for us.

So, if you could, just leave a little comment after this post so I know you are out there and this Blog is useful to you!

Did you know we had like 76 people at church on Sunday? That is a very encouraging number. Our Church is so important to this community. Our spiritual growth comes from our associtaion with each other. That's how God designed us. Our strenght lies in our fellowship and love for one another.

Thank You all so very much,

Love,

Kelly

You know I read it everyday!!! But I have to correct you on something. The board showed 78 people rather than 76! Not that I'm int numbers! LOL! These are all great posts and thanks for sharing better pictures of that tin ceiling and all of the kids going and at camp. That old guy leaning against that rail sure scare me! LOL!
