God's plan for us is actually so simple that many times we miss it. We tend to look for something more complicated-something more difficult-that we are expected to do to please God. Jesus has told us what we are to do to please the Father, "Believe."
Doubt brings in confusion and often depression. It causes us to speak doubtful and negative words. Believing on the other hand, releases joy and leaves us free to enjoy life while God is taking care of our circumstance's. It sounds almost too good to be true, which is why many people never enter into God's plan.
When Jesus said that whatever we ask of God, believing, will be granted to us, He was saying that we will receive it free. In God's economy, everything comes to us as a gift, and the only thing we can do with a gift is receive it graciously with a thankful heart.
Faith is not the price that buys God's blessing. It is the hand that receives His blessing. The price was paid for us by Jesus Christ on the cross.
Faith, like muscle, is strengthened by "using" it, not by talking about it.
