Battle Hymn Republic - from Bev Stewart

This email is a little long ,but I hope you will take the time to listen to it. As I listened I had goosebumps and tears. And such a feeling of pride in that old flag that has flown over us for so long. I thought of all the men and women who have given so much for you and me that we can still fly that flag and sing praises and give thanks to our heavenly Father for the freedom we still have. The second verse talks about how the soldiers sat around the campfires and sang hymns and prayed before going into battle the next day. They knew it was by God’s grace that they would gather around the fire when the days battle was over and pray again for His protection in the days to come. As I listened I could just see the soldiers ,of the civil war especially, before they fought the battle of Gettsburg and all the other battles where thousands died. And in the more recent Wars how soldiers that had never called on God before, turned to Him in desperation as they realized there is only ONE who hears our prayers and comforts us when we are so afraid and feel so alone. I hope you will enjoy the song and pictures as much as I have and that you will take the time to Pray that God will Bless America especially those who fight to keep us FREE. GOD IS GOOD !!! Bev

Get a load of these high school kids singing (you hear them but don't see them).
At the conclusion listen to the high notes on the trumpet, played by a high school kid!?
One of the fathers recorded it, added some graphic enhancements to the recording, and posted it
on the web. The song, of course, is the' Battle Hymn Of The Republic.
