And the Bible says:

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

I USED to think….And when I say used to, I mean like, last week. I used to think that in order to be a REAL Christian I needed to be a Bible Scholar. I couldn’t claim Christianity as my faith publically because what if someone asked me a hard theological question? So, I thought, oh I’ll wait till I know more. I’ll wait till I learn more about the Bible until I claim Christ, Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Then I’ll really show them. I’ll WOW them with my amazing knowledge of the Bible, the people, the stories, the meaning, the history. Problem is, my memory isn’t so good and I’m already so busy and I really don’t know enough about most of it to even begin to claim I know what’s happening in some of these stories. I would need to go to college full time. God hasn’t called me to do that. Or, I would do that.

But I have come to understand that I have a helper in my quest to claim my faith. The Holy Spirit.  

And the Bible says:

John 14:26

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

The Holy Spirit will help me and remind me? Well Praise Jesus! And I can come to him as a child? I don’t need to come to him as a theologian? Halelujah! Amen!

Now, that is Good News! I say these things to you now because I want to tell you something. Do not wait. Do not wait till you know more, receive a sign, lose weight, have the time or feel bored.  Claim your faith now. Do it even if your faith is small.

And the Bible says:

Luke 17:6

He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.

That’s a powerful verse!  Claim it! Use it! Take what little faith you have in your heart, even if it’s just a desire to believe. And take that leap! What are you waiting for?

Come to me as children, I will send you a helper even if your faith is small. Do not hesitate, God will bless you. He loves you and is waiting for you.
