THANK YOU!!

How can I ever find the words to thank everyone for all of their hard work to make this weekend such a great success!! I'm afraid I would leave someone out if I started listing names, but in general I'll say from the kitchen help, to the decorations both inside and out, the benches provided outside, the cleaning, the parking lot expansion, the transporting of people for parking, picture taking, all of the mementos passed out, the greeters, those who collected money and all who faithfully supported every aspect of the preparations and attendance. I believe there was a record crowd at Hinkle over the weekend as so many people came to share with us and old acquaintes were re-kindled, and certainly the love of each other was so evident. I just feel like the most blessed Pastor for having such a willing hard working congregation that's not afraid to pitch in and make everything run like a well oiled machine! In case you are wondering, we had 178 visitors for the Woody Wright Concert, and 160 in Worship Services! In all of my ministry, I've never had that many people in attendance for any event let alone Worship Services in all of my career. Saturday and Sunday were both the pinnacle of all I have ever prayed for! I heard so many comments from people saying they felt the Holy Spirit in our midst as they entered the building and felt so welcomed by all of you. So many said they were made to feel like part of our Church Family. I am so grateful to all of you for paying particular attention to that and making people feel so welcomed. It was just an awesome weekend. There were several who worked behind the scenes that would never want any recognition, but you know who you are, and I want you to know that it didn't go unoticed! I just thank God everyday for this wonderful Hinkle Creek Friends that has had so much to do with molding my life and it continues to this day. Great job everyone! Hope you feel as good about it as I do.

Now all of you rest this week and prepare your hearts for the next gathering. I just love you all to death and hope you know that!!!

Bob
