Well Friends, we are getting down to the wire before our 175th Homecoming Event we have long anticipated. There is much to do at the Meeting House to get ready for it and many hands will make short the work ahead. Here is a few things that need to be done and if any of you could free up some time on Saturday and give a hand it would much appreciated. Here's the list: Windows need cleaned, kitchen needs a good cleaning and refrigerators need cleaned out. The grounds need sprucing up. There are a lot of pine needles on the ground and sticks to be picked up. We are getting a Bobcat to clear an area in the woods for additional parking, so I'm sure there is work that will need to be done there. Some detailed cleaning above and beyond what Mike and Kelly do each week would also be helpful. We just want the Lord's House to look it's best for all of our guests who will be coming back home. We have all worked hard to accomplish so many things in the past year and I know if you are like me, you want Hinkle to look it's best. If you know of someone who doesn't look at the Blog, you might give them a call and let them know in case they want to help on Saturday. I'm guessing we will arrive around 9:00 a.m..
