Good morning Friends! Are you getting excited for the upcoming weekend? I know I am! What a great time to be involved at Hinkle celebrating this our 175th! We are excited that we have an expanded parking lot and a larger handicapped parking area. A HUGE thanks to Mike for working so hard to get this all done! Speaking of parking, we are asking all of us who are regular attenders at Hinkle if you could help out with parking spaces for guests coming on Saturday evening for the Concert. If you could park at Bev Stewart's house, Larry Butcher will be available to transport you to the Church and take you back once the Concert is over. This will relieve our parking lot and allow us to be sure to fit everyone. There is good lighting at Bev's house, so when you return, you won't need to worry about walking in the dark. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
The Meeting House looks beautiful inside and out! A big thanks to Betty VanWinkle, Jeff, and her helper for placing and planting mums around the grounds to beautify it for this weekend.
The museum is finished after hours of work and I hope you will be able to take time and go through it and enjoy the many pictures from the past and present along with the few artifacts on display. It warmed my heart to put this together as I felt I was living in the past and thinking back about the hardships and work our forefathers went through to provide this sacred place we enjoy today. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this great project.
May God Bless us all as we gather this weekend as a Church Family and may His Name be honored through it all!
Pastor Bob
