Nashville guitarist Richard Smith and cellist Julie Adams will return to the Hedgehog on Friday evening, July 23 at 8:00 pm for a performance that has received high-acclaim across the country. Originally from England, Richard is considered by many to be one of the top guitarists in the world today. His genre spans bluegrass to classical to swing. His ability to play in the styles of Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, and Django Reinhardt has earned him a reputation that is truly unbelievable for his young age. Pull up the YouTube video of Richard performing with Chet Atkins when Richard was just 11 years old. Imagine now how great he is. Julie Adams is in high-demand in the Nashville studios. She is extremely talented, winning a Grammy Award along side Suzy Bogguss for the 2005 Folk Album of the Year. Richard and Julie have performed at the Hedgehog in the past to a near-capacity crowd, and everyone walks away thankful that they had the opportunity to see and hear these two talents together.
