When I was growing up at Hinkle, our Pastor Ward Applegate always ended his closing prayer with a Scripture - it was always the same Scripture and as I meditated on that today, it was a good reminder that I need to be careful what I think and say to others. Perhaps it's a good reminder to all of us, so I wanted to share this with you today.
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14
