We have received news from Rwanda that Etienne Nsanzimana, a Quaker pastor there, has been “taken away” by Rwandan security officials. Etienne is a graduate of Earlham School of Religion, and still has close ties to many here in the United States.

Etienne has been an advocate for peace, and for the care of people who need help. He has worked to help build housing for widows and orphans and help orphans get school supplies and clothes, among many other things.

Would you be able to share with IYM this request to hold Etienne in the Light, and pray for his Etienne’s safety and quick release? He had been looking forward to returning to Earlham this Friday for a conference.
