Amazing Evening!

Wow! What an amazing evening we had last night with all the youth from the Yearly Meeting and our youth mingling together along with all the adults enjoying a great time of fellowship and food. As of last count, we had 53 people in attendance. There is ping pong games, Wii on the new flat screen TV, foosball, and the card game, apples to apples. We are looking forward to hearing what the Youth Cabinet has in store for us today and also looking forward to the carry-in meal after services. The Family Fun night was a great success and this will be an on-going event each month. Dates and times will be announced in the near future. What a wonderful time for our young people to get excited about our Church and having a good safe place to enjoy time together! There is talk about having some of the Gaither Homecoming Videos showing on the new TV at one of our upcoming events. So, there is something for all age groups! I pray this will grow into a wonderful outreach for Hinkle beyond our congregation! Great job of planning Will - and thanks to Kelly for all the beautiful decorations. And Sharon and Denny - the popcorn machine was a big hit! I believe pictures were taken, so look for those on the blog in the near future.
