Thank you!

Just wanted to thank you for your prayers for my situation that I found myself in after the oral surgery. I had not idea this nasty bug could be so bad and hurt like it did. After 5 prescriptions and a diligent routine of pills, mouth washes and lozenges 5 times a day, the pain has subsided and I can now eat very soft unseasoned foods. Thank you Pam for sending home the chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes - they really filled the bill for me last evening. I was getting pretty tired of drinking Ensure and warm low salt chicken broth. I'm thankful to have such a good doctor that got right on top of this and got me the help I needed. Apparently, once it started spreading it went like wildfire throughout my mouth, down my throat, and even in my nose. Being santitary is the key to keep it under control besides the medication. I've gone through so much bleach, I'll have to buy more before Paulette gets home!! LOL! Even had to buy a supply of toothbrushes and throw each one away after use. Been drinking from paper cups, paper plates, and plastic wear. I really appreciate the quiet I have experienced through this as the medication makes me very sleepy and it's nice to nap without phone interruptions. I believe by tomorrow I should be back to normal, although I have to keep up with the medication for another 10 days or so. Again, thank you for your concern and prayers. It has just meant the world to me. Let's all pray that 2012 will prove to be a much better year for all of us. Seems like many of us in the congregation has experienced a lot of challenges in 2011. Just know I continue to pray for all of you too - so I'm still on the job!!! LOL!
