Praise The Lord!!!

I always want to give credit to the Lord when I feel like He has done something special in my life. Many of you don't know that as I was coming back from Indianapolis on Monday, my old truck suddenly started acting up and would hardly pull itself across the intersection. I quickly realized that my transmission was acting up and it wasn't shifting. I could only go slow and had to hand shift it to get down the road. I took that to the Lord and asked for His help as we certainly couldn't afford to have it worked on at this time with everything else on our plate. As I was thinking about that today, the Lord brought to my mind a conversation I had some years back with a gentleman who was a well known transmission man and worked for White Oldsmobile back in the '60's. His name was Orville Hopkins. He told me that there was this new product you could put in your transmission and it would revitalize your fluid and unstick anything that was stuck and would even clean the filter. I happened to remember the name of the product and went to autozone and bought a bottle of it and put it in. I drove it to the Church to get the mail and nothing. So, I came back home and thought - "well I tried". But, then I thought I'd try it one more time and go to the drugstore. When I drove out of the driveway, it worked perfect!!!! I took it on a little longer spin to try it out and every gear works and it is just like new!!! I just wanted to give God the Glory for touching my old blue truck that I depend on so much! Being on call 24/7, I really didn't know what I'd do if I was at home and Paulette gone and got an emergency call. It really is true - He knows our needs before we do and is faithful to provide in these circumstances. Just wanted to share this you. He brings to our mind things we have long forgotten that are useful to us in the present! Praise The Lord!

What good news! And I hope this comment gets "published" because Kelly has been helping me wrestle with this Blog for quite a while!
