Homecoming Celebration in 24 Days!

I am so excited about Homecoming. The Homecoming Committee is really doing a wonderful job coming up with great ideas to make this incredible time in Hinkle's history really special and memorable. I cannot wait to see the history museum and the decorations and all of the plans come together. When the ceiling fell in the sanctuary there was some doubt as to whether we would be back home for the 175th Homecoming. But we are and we are so thankful to God for his guidance. Praise you Lord for your faithfulness and the steadfast love you've shown us. Please remember to pray for the entire homecoming weekend. Pray for Woody, Vonnie,Jeff and Mike. Pray for Bob and Paulette. Pray that the meetinghouse will just be brimming with love and joy that weekend as we celebrate the incredible milestone of 175 years glorifying God! Praise Jesus and thank you to everyone who had a hand in bringing Hinkle back to its feet this year. It was amazing to watch the Lord work through his people. We are his hands and feet! He is our heart and soul. So, with that being said, we have about thirty tickets left for Homecoming. Now, that is all the room we have in the sanctuary but we absolutely have extra room to bring in chairs so we will keep selling tickets to fill the sanctuary to the brim. So, don't worry about not getting a ticket. That will not be a problem. That will absolutely not be a problem. If they had 500 people in attendance for the 95th homecoming surely we can squeeze a few more chairs into the sanctuary. So, if you know of someone who might enjoy the Saturday night celebration please encourage them to come. I didn't really know what to expect last time Woody and Vonnie came to Hinkle, but I can tell you it was absolutely wonderful! I am so looking forward to celebrating all we've accomplished in the past year and what God has done through Hinkle in the last 175 years! Praise his holy name! Thank you Jesus and thanks again to everyone for their dedication to Hinkle Creek Friends Church. WHERE LOVE GROWS!!!
