Quaker Haven has a very amazing and exciting opportunity coming up! Next month Phil Keaggy will be here for a concert! Maybe you haven't heard of Phil Keaggy, but he is one of the top three guitarists in the WORLD. Many people think he is THE BEST GUITARIST in the world. And he is coming to play for us at Quaker Haven!!!!
Brandon and I didn't know a whole lot about Phil, so we looked him up online. I won't take the time to write everything we learned here, but one interesting thing I did learn is that while I struggle to play guitar with 10 fingers, he does amazing things with his guitar with only 9! I recommend looking him up on YouTube. His talent is amazing and he uses it in service of the Lord.
The concert is taking place here at Camp on FEBRUARY 12, 2011 at 7:00 pm. This would be a great weekend to come up with friends or a unique and cool date night for Valentines Day. You will feel uplifted! Tickets can be obtained by calling the Camp office at 574.834.4193. If you don't want to drive home that night, ask the Camp office about lodging availability or we can help you find a hotel room in the area.
