MARTHA BARNES

Just wanted to let everyone know that Sharon Griffith's mother, Martha Barnes passed away about 6:35 this evening.

We all need to keep Sharon and Denny and Pat and Butch in our prayers. You always think you are prepared for it, but when it really happens, it's a whole different story. I remember so well going through that as I know many of you have as well. Martha knew me the last time I was there and she told me she loved me and that just meant the world to me. Our families go back many years and it is sad for me to see this generation pass.

I know all of you love Sharon and Denny as they have done so much for Hinkle and are part of our Church Family, so they need us right now.

Martha will be creamated and her service will be at a future date once Hinkle is finished. She had requested her funeral to be held at Hinkle where so many precious memories are there and was a huge part of her life growing up not to mention her rich Quaker Heritage and family roots there.
