A Few Updates

1. Bible Study tonight - Paulette has not had time to cook, so we are bringing mac n cheese (store bought), a blueberry pie, iced tea, and coffee. Heather cannot come, but is sending Teriaki Chicken with Tim.

2. Property Trustee's Meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Church. All drywall is up and they finished sanding it today. The ceiling tin has been ordered and should arrive in approximately 2 weeks. New doors on the south side of the Sanctuary are being purchased and the glass will be put in the new ones. They will be a 6 panel type door to go with the decor of the church. Also the doors coming in from the foyer will be replaced and stained which will also be 6 panel doors. All of the trim will be stained dark to match the railings and wainscoating that is up front around the stage area. A dimmer switch will be put on the candle lights up front so they can be dimmed down during use therefore making it easier on our eyes.

3. Martha Barnes is in grave condition. She has a lot of fluid built up in her body and is having a hard time breathing and talking. I went up to pray with her and loved on her and had a good visit talking about eternity. Decisions are being made by the family as to what to do at this point with her condition and care.

4. Reminder - Ministry and Counsel Meeting will be held tomorrow evening at 6:30 in the Church basement. All members are encouraged to be present.

5. I have a funeral near Mitchell, Indiana on Saturday and will need to leave on Friday evening to stay overnight down there, so this makes it impossible for me to prepare a sermon for Sunday. I've asked Will Bussell to bring the message this Sunday. I'll be there to play the piano and help where I can. Just too many irons in the fire this week to get everything done. Hope you all understand.
