Clearness Committee

The Executive Committee of Western Yearly has scheduled a Clearness Meeting with us to be held this coming Wednesday, October 27th, at 6:30 p.m. in the basement at Hinkle Creek. I would like to urge all members to be present at this meeting if at all possible. Once they feel clear of our decision to withdraw from Western Yearly Meeting, then they will meet again on November 13th to draft their minute to be sent to the November 20th Administrative Counsel Meeting recommending the body approve our withdrawal. This is a very important step in this process and is moving much faster than I thought according to the Faith and Practice. On Sunday, following the services, I would like to have a short informational meeting with the membership to explain the Clearness Committee so we are all on the same page and understand what to expect in this meeting. If you can attend both meetings, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't stay after Church, it would still be helpful for you to attend the meeting on Wednesday. I'd like to ask the Bible Study group to help after our study by tearing down the tables and setting up chairs in preparation for this meeting.
