Prayer needed

Hello Friends.

I just wanted to let you all know that prayer is needed right now as we end this 2009 that things will look better for several of us in the congregation. Just to let you know, Tim and Heather have had a difficult time lately. With Heather's surgery on her knee and being more extensive than they thought, it is going to take longer for her to heal. It is difficult for her to function as far as cooking, cleaning, and just normal household duties. Then today, they had a toilet problem upstairs in their home and it flooded their house ruining their ceiling in the kitchen, the floor, and carpeting upstairs. On top of that, the hot water heater is leaking! With her problem, she cannot stay in the house during repairs with the dust and all. Those poor people - when it rains it pours! We certainly need to lift them in prayer! This evening, we received a call from Paulette's mother asking for prayer for her Dad. It appears he may have had a small stroke and couldn't talk this evening. She is alone trying to deal with that, so has asked if we could pray for them.

I know of others who have had a rough time at the end of this year that I won't mention here, but believe me our congregation needs prayer! We certainly don't want satan to get a foothold and use these circumstances to discourage us. I just felt I needed to share that with you as we are a family and care so much for each other. That is what Hinkle is all about!

May 2010 turn out to be the best year all of us have experienced with a freshness in our spirits from the Lord!
