I went to the Food Pantry today to make a delivery and was priviledge to meet the Pastor over the Food Pantry, Fred Knoll. He just wanted to tell me how grateful they are for our Church being a part of this ministry. We had a good conversation and exchanged emails. He has another program that he oversees that he is going to share with me to see if any of our people would have an interest in. He is all about crossing over from denomination to denomination and helping each other. I am big on that too! I have always said there will not be special rooms in Heaven for each denomination! We all need to reach out and help each other.
Also while there, I met Kim DeMasie who sends out the newsletters each week. Kim wanted to meet me and thank us as well for all the help our Church is providing. She gave me a flyer and wanted me to let all of you who help with this ministry know that they would like to invite us to an appreciation meal and gathering. I'll type the information from the flyer below:
Bring your family and join us for a celebration to thank our Food Pantry volunteers!

That is this coming Sunday. So, if I don't preach too long - maybe some of you can go! It isn't far from the Church.
The trip to the pantry today just made my day!
